Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest this week celebrated the cultural heritage of its iconic with a collection of paintings to mark the centenary of the luxury automobile.
The artwork reflects the lifestyle of customers over the last century and the diverse lives and worlds the Phantom has been a part of.
Owned by personalities such as Queen Elizabeth II, Greta Garbo and John Lennon, the Phantom has reflected and shaped contemporary culture, organizers of the event said.
The Phantom is not merely a luxury car, but has played a key role in important moments of cultural, political and world history, and Rolls-Royce, considers it the world’s leading luxury product.
“The Phantom is much more than a car. It is a cultural phenomenon, which reflects and influences the world around it,” said Georg Pfeffer, General Manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest. “Since its inception, the flagship product of the Rolls-Royce brand has been one of the most desired rewards for success and a powerful symbol of power and prestige on the world stage.” He continued: “I am delighted to present today, at this very appropriate time, the new digital work; It will come to our headquarters to please customers and friends of the brand.”

For the centenary celebration, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest celebrated in a 1920s villa in the heart of the capital, where it presented new paintings created by Rolls-Royce designers, honoring the cultural heritage of the Phantom model.
Frank Tiemann, Head of Corporate Communications for Europe (Central/East) and Central Asia recalled the Phantom’s famous owners.
