Copenhagen and Oslo airports closed temporarily on Monday night after two or threedrones were spotted.
Despite armed forces jumping into action, Danish police were unable to confirm the type or the number of drones seen around Copenhagen Airport, but told reporters that they suspected them to be the work of a “capable operator” who wanted to “show off”.
They say that “a number of measures will be implemented” as investigations ensue.
Flights were suspended for four hours at both airports, affecting around 20,000 passengers.
Despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called it a Russian violation on social media, Norway and Denmark have not confirmed this, nor have EU and Nato leaders made a public attribution.
