In South Carolina, authorities confirmed that a drone arrived at Lee Correctional Institution carrying multiple items which appeared to be destined for a holiday dinner of fun and relaxation: including crab legs, steak, Old Bay seasoning, marijuana from a herb vape, and Marlboro cigarettes.
The drone plunked the package down, where it was intercepted by prison guards.
However, authorities did not confirm whether any arrests were made in connection with the incident. Alas, the feast was ruined.
Marijuana remains illegal in the state of South Carolina, and possession of the substance is a criminal offense.
