Johann Strauss Ensemble tours Romania for Xmas

The Johann Strauss Ensemble will perform in four Romanian cities with two special guests, soprano Paula Jeckstadt and baritone Michael Havlicheck, as part of the „Vienna Magic” national tour.

The concerts, involving remarkable interpretations of the most beloved Viennese waltzes will take place on:

December 11 – Patria Hall in Brasov,

on December 12 – ‘Florin Piersic’ Cinema in Cluj-Napoca,

on December 13 – ‘Ioan Slavici’ Classic Theatre in Arad,

and on December 14 – Speranta Baptist Church in Oradea.

The new concept of the concert includes a varied programme of classical music, beginning with from beloved classic waltze and reaching opera arias belonging to the great composers of all times, such as Johann Strauss I and II, Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Lehar, Karl Komzak and Julius Fucik.

Tickets have been put up for sale online and at the ticket offices of the venues, at varying prices depending on location and seating category.

The Johann Strauss Ensemble was founded in 1985 by members of the Bruckner Orchester in Linz.
