According to his official agenda, Klaus Iohannis will welcome King Charles III at the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest this Friday, June 2. The two will have face-to-face talks followed by a meeting with state authorities and representatives of the civil society and the Diplomatic Corps.
This is a gesture of courtesy, as Charles’s visit is a private affair: he will come to his residence in the village of Viscri, according to British ambassador Andrew Noble.
This is one of the King’s first visits abroad following his Coronation.
Under Charles’ sponsorship, the Mihai Eminescu Trust foundation has renovated several properties in Transylvania with traditional methods and materials to preserve the heritage.
