Meghan is selling strawberry jam

American Riviera Orchard is Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s freshly launched business venture.

Meghan announced this last month with an Instagram teaser video, showing her cooking and arranging white hydrangeas and roses, posted to the new American Riviera Orchard Instagram account.

As of yet, the jam attracted commentary by appearing in limited edition of 50, distributed to Meghan’s friends and various influencers. It is not yet available for sale to the public.

King Charles III sold jam from his Cornwall Duchy in the 90s – this is now in Prince William’s property and the strawberry jam can still be bought at Waitrose.

Recently, Harry and Meghan have kept a low profile.

Nothing has been shared about the brand since, but the jam is in line with patent and trademark documents that suggested the name would be used for an online retail store selling tableware, cutlery, cookbooks, servingware, jams and jellies, oils and other homegoods, reports Forbes.

Since their move to California in 2020, Meghan and Harry have started a charity organization and the production company Archewell. Through Archewell Productions, they signed a $100 million deal with Netflix and a $20 million deal with Spotify, the latter of which fell apart after the couple reportedly failed to meet „productivity benchmarks”. The couple has made three shows with Netflix, including an explosive documentary about their departure from England, and last week announced two more, a lifestyle show and sports series.
