The video blew up on the internet, sending fans into a frenzy. Reacting to it, one  wrote, “Smashed it out of the park! So proud.” Another fan commented, “Like Chris needed any additional attributes to be even more likeable. Perfection.”

In the -now viral video shared by Sheeran, the Grammy winner can be seen revealing the drummer at his concert. “He’s been on stage playing with us for the whole time playing in time. Will you make some noise for Chris Hemsworth?” Sheeran says in the video.

Hemsworth joined Ed Sheeran on stage at the National Arena in Bucharest on Aug.24 night. According to Rolling Stone, the actor was filming an episode for the upcoming second season of his National Geographic/Disney+ series “Limitless With Chris Hemsworth.” He played the drums for Sheeran’s iconic song “Thinking Out Loud.”

“Basically what happened is Chris emailed me last December saying he was doing a documentary on cognitive health and the benefits of learning an instrument. He came to visit me, and he has learned drums. So he’s going to come onstage in front of 70,000,” Sheeran says backstage.

After the concert, Sheeran told Hemsworth, “You really, really did well,” and handed him a “Participation Award”.
