The online “MKOR consumer Sentiment 2025” survey, held at the end of April, shows that one out of five Romanians are undecided as regards to the presidential re-elections which will take place this Sunday.
In this second round after November’s scandal, the number of people who either would not vote or are undecided has risen from 35%-45% in March to 41%-55% in April.
Supporters of Nicusor Dan are the most willing to go and vote, following by those of Crin Antonescu, and thereafter George Simion, who leads slightly over Victor Ponta.
This has seen a big drop from March to now.
Declared participation has shrunk drastically in only two months.
April has shown a tense and unpredictable turn of events, and subsequent voter reaction, with electoral spats further disillusioning a country that is already burnt-out from a political standpoint.
