Romania will receive yet another donation of 18 F16 fighter jets from the Netherlands.
This means that Romania’s fighter jet fleet will reach other 70.
Romania hosts a training center for F-16 pilots, making it a very active player in Europe’s support of Ukraine.
Gradually, Romania is making it into the largest air forces in Eastern Europe, currently at third (after Greece and Turkey).
The approval document will be signed Romania’s newly appointment Defense Minister Ionuţ Moşteanu.
Moşteanu is currently in The Hague new President Dan’s delegation at the NATO Summit.
The planes donated by the Dutch are retired planes.
This is meant to open the training center to more countries, beyond Ukraine, like This means Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Middle Eastern states.
