Dacia goes a little bit more electric

Romanian car manufacturer Dacia (partnered with Renault) is set to launch multiple electric models, with the aim of o challenging Chinese producers, who are currently dominating the electric vehicle market on the European continent.

Given that the Dacia Sandero was Europe’s bestselling car in 2024, Dacia’s first electric product will be the next Sandero.

We will see this only in 2027.

Right now, Dacia has one complete electric model, the Spring.

In 2024, Dacia’s global sales ncreased by 2.7%, standing at 676,340 vehicles.

Significant buyers hailed from Morocco, Italy Belgium, Luxembourg, and Spain.

Cars bought were the “four core models” — Sandero, Duster, Jogger, and Spring. The Biaster model is set to join the ranks this spring, and will offer a hybrid option, alongside existent hybrids Jagger and Duster.
