Melania Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for over one billion dollar after he claimed she was introduced to Donald Trump by Jeffrey Epstein.
Melania’s lawyers call the claim, made in an interview, “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory”, and say that it has brought her not only reputational but also financial harm.
“Threatened” means that the lawyers have sent a demand of apology and retraction to Biden’s attorney.
However, the first lady’s legal letter does specify that the partially attributed to Trump biographer Michael Wolff — who since retracted his claim.
Evidence supporting this claim has not come out. The conventional story, published by Harper’s Bazaar in 2016, reports that Melania Knauss met Donald Trump at a party for models. She also rejected his advances at the time as he was there with another woman.
The White House has been perspiring for weeks under the spotlight of Epstein-related accusations, after the Trump administration procrastinated a much-promised release of the complete files.
