Poland base is Russia’s main target

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has stated that a United States anti-missile base in Redzikowo, Poland, “is a priority target for potential neutralization”.

The United States anti-missile base in Redzikowo was commissioned by Barack Obama in 2009 and is the first of its kind in Poland.

“If necessary, this can be achieved using a wide range of advanced weaponry”, she specified, and cited the Americans as being responsible for the now heightened state of nuclear danger.

This statement was made after Joe Biden authorized the use of long-range American missiles against Russian targets by Ukraine one week ago, the reported deployment of British by Kiev against Russia — as well as the Kremlin’s own renewed stipulations of the conditions under which Russia may use its nuclear weapons.

The developments — along with Moscow’s recent use of thousands of North Korean troops on the battlefield against Ukraine — have heightened gloal fears that the war is escalating to a new phase, despite Donald Trump’s promises to secure a peace deal as soon as possible.
