Reactions to a three-day ceasefire? Not what Russia expected

Vladimir Putin has agreed to a three-day ceasefire from May 8 to May 11.

These coincide with victory celebrations marking WW2.

This may not actually happen, if we remember how there was no Easter ceasefire, despite its promise.

Actually, for those in the know-how, ceasefires have been declared over 20 times since the beginning of Russia’s invasion in Ukraine.

Some didn’t even last for minutes.

Now, Russian has suggested a new three-day ceasefire, with a renewed offer towards peace talks, “aimed at eliminating the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis”.

Ukraine retaliated by asking why the ceasefire isn’t instantaneous, but rather scheduled a week in advance.

While Ukraine demanded the ceasefire last 30 days instead of 3, the USA reprimanded Russia for not moving towards full peace.

Ceasefire talks will take place in London
