Natalia Intotero, Romania’s minister of family, was admitted to a hospital yesterday after being involved in a car accident on National Road 7, in Vâlcea county.
The vehicle she was in overturned after being violently crash into by another car.
She was transported to Râmnicu Vâlcea in an ambulance and then to Bucharest.
She suffered a thoracic-abdominal traumatism, but no serious injuries.
Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu visited Minister Intotero and said that she was in a good state and will recover quickly.
Romania holds first place in the European Union for the car accident-related mortality rate.
