Britain’s Prince of Wales will arrive in Romania for a visit which includes a visit to Cotroceni Palace, where he will meet Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis.
Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown and His Royal Highness Prince Consort Radu will receive His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales at Elisabeta Palace, the official Bucharest residence of Margareta of Romania. He has previousy visited Elisabeta Palace in 2011, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Charles, a patron of many charities, has been visiting Romania since the late 1990s and has frequently visited Romania, where he is a popular figure. The Prince of Wales last visited the country in 2019, before the pandemic struck.
According to the Presidential Administration, images from the reception of His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales, at Cotroceni Palace will be sent to the press via the unique live broadcast system and on the Presidential Administration’s website.
Charles will also visit Bucharest exhibition arena Romexpo, where he will express his solidarity for Ukrainian refugees.
