Travel to Brasov will be easier, with airport bus incoming

An express bus service will link Brașov’s train station to the new airport from the 15th of June on, the City Hall announced.

The A1 line will be the first public transport option for travellers using the Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport, reports Romania Insider.

This airport, currently in construction, is 12 kilometres away from the city of Brașov.

According to Brașov’s municipality, the bus schedule will be correlated with the flights taking off and landing at the airport.

This marks an improvement in Romanian travel ease, as most airports in Romania (excluding those in the capital of Bucharest) do not provide such services – but probably will do, in light of the decision made in Brașov.
