The new Dacia Striker has been unveiled. Sort of. The new model will be a C-segment wagon that straddles the worlds of the humble estate car, hatchback and SUV, Dacia says.
It’ll come with a few different drivetrains, like a hybrid version, a hybrid version with four-wheel-drive, and one powered by LPG, Dacia says.
Although it’s a type of car Dacia has never offered before, it follows the no-frills formula to stay on a budget. It’s the Romanian brand’s second compact car ever, following in the footsteps of the Bigster SUV.
So far we can see the entire thing but not a close-up image. The Striker will be properly revealed in full in June 2026.
Dacia reckons on a starting price below €25,000 in Europe and has daytime running lights, a panoramic roof and is 4.62 meters long.
It’ll be a core part of Dacia’s next step, alongside the Bigster, and is one of a series of new cars that’ll power the carmaker into the future. Including a little one – Dacia said it wants to launch four full EVs by 2030, including a city car spun off the Renault 5’s AmpR Small platform, and weighing in at under €18k.
The next-gen Dacia Sandero will also come with a “multi-energy powertrain range”, too.
