Famous YouTuber, MrBeast rented out a Transylvanian salt mine to explore with other popular YouTubers and made a video that has been viewed 43 million times in just two days.
The Turda salt mine famous for its caverns and underground lake is actually created by humans.
The American artist with more than 300 million followers spent a whole week there making the video. The 26-year-old presented it as one of the most spectacular tourist attractions and “an underground city”.
“This city is built inside of a mine dating back more than a thousand years ago,” he said. “With countless uncharted tunnels and chambers, who knows what horrors we’ll run into,” he teased.
During his seven days, MrBeast hosted a famous content creator every day, including Kai Cenat, Logan Paul, Vikkstar, JiDion, IShowSpeed and LazarBeam.
“During World War II, when Romania was bombed, thousands of people would hide here, and now only a handful of YouTubers live here,” the artist joked. “We found a great place to spend the night.”
The 20-minute video released on Oct. 12, which has already gone viral with more than 43 million views, is full of challenges, pranks and mayhem as content creators explore the 1,000-year-old underground city and unravel its mysteries.

Fans commented on the video, with one writing, “I never thought Cenat, Sam and Colby, and JiDion would be in the same video,” and another added, “There’s no crazier party than MrBeast.”
