A babysitter found a man hiding under a child’s bed in Kansas.
The child had whimpered that a monster hid under the bed – a classic story, but with a sinister twist.
The female babysitter crouched under the bed to demonstrate to the child that there was no monster.
However, she found herself face to face with the monster himself: a flesh and blood man.
He attacked the babysitter, knocking the child over, but ran away.
There were actually multiple children in the house.
He was found on the same block the next morning and arrested after a short chase on foot.
We know that he’s only 27 years old and already had a protection from abuse order to stay away from the property.
He’s now in jail, facing charges of aggravated kidnapping — but also of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, child endangerment, felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer and violation of a protection from abuse order, reports the BBC.
