On 10 September, Poland shot down Russian drones intercepting its territory.
A few days later, Russian drones dropped over Romania.
On 23 September, airports in Denmark and Norway closed due to drone sightings.
Now, on Saturday and Friday, Munich Airport was closed twice in 24 hours due to drone sightings.
This caused massive disruption and delay for travellers.
Approximately 6,500 passengers were stranded.
Russia’s Kremlin has denied any involvement.
Neither did Germany publicly attribute the incident.
However, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt publicly promised on Friday a law make that would enable police to shoot drones down.
Both Copenhagen and Oslo airports closed last night as mysterious drones passed over them
