CODRU calls itself „more than just a music festival” – this year, festival-goers will not only enjoy music, as they have every year, but also the opportunity to plant trees in Bistra Forest outside of Timisoara.
The summer part of the festival will take place from 30 August to 1 September, but planting will take place in the village of Șag between April 20th and 21st.
This specific part of CODRU is named OXIGEN – Planting Festival and involves two stages for live concerts, a DJ, a party event, a food and drink zone, child-friendly zones, and a series of workshops.
Planting sessions will take place hourly and hold 50 people, with equipment provided. Children are welcome.
The goal is to plan 15,000 saplings.
