The Jazz Cave Festival is one of the most original events of its kind in Romania.

It will hold its fourth edition this summer, between August 16-18.

Previously held in Ialomița Cave, it will move to a new location with a new stage.

18 jazz bands from across the world will perform.

The Innerland underground stage will move from the cave to the salt mine în Ocnele Mari, and the overground stage Dreamland will move to the village of Drăgășani. The third stage,  Arts District, will be hosted in Râmnicu Vâlcea.

In all likelihood, a series of interdisciplinary workshops and events will be organized, as was the case in the past years.

Last year, tickets were 75 lei per day or 150 lei for the entire duration of the festival.

More information will soon be available on the Jazz Cave Festival’s Facebook page or ucimr.ro.
