Retired from tennis in February 2025, Simona Halep can’t put her racket down to the delight of her fans.
The 33-year-old will take part in a demonstration match at a tournament this summer in Iași northeast Romania, together with another former tennis star, Andrei Pavel.
The former world no. 1 leader says she plans to honor all the invitations she receives.
“I will go to Iasi. It’s the only exhibition match planned this year. I don’t know what it will be. I will gladly honor all the invitations I receive and we will see,” Simona Halep said at the Romanian Sports Gala, according to gsp.ro.
Simona Halep will be at the UniCredit Iași Open, a competition that will take place between July 14 and 20, 2025.
