That’s a first (no, a third): funding for Diaspora Romanians

For the third year in a row, the government-associated Department for Romanians Abroad (DRP) is offering six funding programs for Romanians abroad in the following subsections: Education, Culture, Civil Society, Mass Media, Spirituality and Tradition and Community.

Who can apply? 

Associations, foundations, religious institutions, non-governmental organizations of Romanians everywhere, authorized individuals or legal entities under public or private law. 

What’s more, an applicant can submit up to two projects – but in different sections. 

Funding applications must be sent in PDF format to [email protected]. This is also the email address for clarification and guidance. 

Each attachment is required to be attached as a single PDF document, named as such. (eg Status.PDF). Other formats (JPEG, PNG, etc.) are not supported.

Results will be published on the official website. But applicants should be careful – responses asking after additional documents or documents must be replied to within three days. 

The deadline to apply is April 30.
