International guests, Poetry and Music Fusion, Open Mic Nights, Powerful Slam competitions, raw talent, and unfiltered expression are on offer with this weekend’s Transylvania International Spoken Word Festival.

The festival will take place at the Cluj Arena.
Tonight, at 18:30, Artist Talks with Lena Chilari & Festival Poets will take place.
Highlights for English speakers include “Future of Poetry is Now: International Poets” (October 4, 21:00 – 23:00), the Spoken Word Workshop with UK National Slam Champ Mithago (October 5, 12:00 – 15:00), and Cluj Highlight Artist (October 6, 18:00 – 19:00).
Artists from across the world will perform.
But the general public is also invited to participate and perform.
Tickets cost 99 lei for students, 165 lei through the festival’s ticketing agency, or 249 lei at the door. Kids have free access so long as they are accompanied by an adult.
