Dozens of people on Sunday marched through Bucharest to call for an end to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
It was the second anti-war protest this weekend in the Romanian capital.
Some protesters carried the Ukrainian flag as they marched through the city to the Russian embassy. They yelled: “Putin, a murderer” and „Stop the war.”
Mothers and young children were among anti-war demonstrators gathered in Bucharest’s University Square.
Sunday’s rally followed a bigger turnout on Saturday when a few hundred marched to the Russian embassy to protest the conflict.
Protesters held banners in English and Romanian saying: “Putin, Ukraine is not your playground. „Stop the war against Ukraine” and “Putin, hands off Ukraine,” they yelled waving or wrapping themselves in Ukrainian flags.
One protester called for NATO to create a no-fly zone over Ukraine, warning that if Europe did not take a strong stand against the Kremlin, Europe could be next.
