An even bigger Labubu heist, lost and found

A whopping $30,000 worth of stolen Labubus have been recovered from a home in San Bernardino County, California.

This is not confused to be with a glass-shattering burglary of One Stop Sales outside Los Angeles, in which $7000 worth of Labubus were stolen.

But the second and unrelated theft was more elaborate, with the culprit taking the collectible dolls out of a warehouse in multiple trips over several days, in a total of 14 boxes.

“During the investigation, a search warrant was served at a residence in Upland”, police said. “One suspect attempted to flee but ultimately surrendered without incident.”

At the Upland residence, fourteen boxes were discovered “along with evidence indicating the items were being prepared for resale and shipment across the country”, the local police found.

The stolen items, valued at around $30,000, were returned to their owners, police said.
