Spooky business…the Grand Labubu Heist

Sursa: Facebook

A gang of masked, hoodie-wearing thieves stole $7,000 worth of Labubu dolls from a store in La Puente, a city near Los Angeles.

Police say that the suspects used a stolen Toyota Tacoma, recovered shortly after the event.

Labubus, zoomorphic elves with sardonic smiles, are both wildly popular and expensive, taking the internet by storm after being endorsed by celebrities like Kim Kardashian.

Toy vendor One Stop Sales, the victim in question, posted on Instagram that not only did the thieves empty out the store’s entire inventory, but also trashed the store.

In video footage, the suspects can be seen shuffling through items and carrying boxes out of the shop (Labubus are sold in blind boxes).

The four men have not been found.
