A 64-year-old woman who is believed to have fallen into a 9-meter-deep sinkhole as she was searching for her lost cat.
The hole, roughly around the size of a pothole, may have opened up below her feet.
Officials are searching underground, after nearly almost into the same hole, which seems to be connected to an abandoned coal mine, in Marguerite, Pennsylvania.
They claim there was no evidence of this sinkhole before it collapsed under the woman.
Family members reported her missing after she went out to search for the cat on Monday night.
Microphones and cameras have been lowered into the hole, which seemed to have detected a shoe.
She left her five-year-old granddaughter in her car as she searched for the cat. The girl was unharmed.
Government mining experts are also on scene.
The good news is that holes are warmer than outside temperature.
Over 100 people came to assist rescue efforts.
