What do Queen Elizabeth II, Elvis Presley, WWII General Montgomery and Greta Garbo have in common? They all owned a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The iconic automobile celebrated its 100th birthday in May and there was an event in Bucharest on Thursday to mark the milestone. It is now in its eighth edition.
The Casa Maison Dadoo hosted Frank Tiemann, the Director of Corporate Communications for Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and George Pfeffer, CEO Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest who led the celebrations.

The Phantom represents “the very best in effortless luxury, engineering excellence, fine materials and exquisite, highly skilled craftsmanship,” Rolls-Royce said in a statement.

“Across eight generations, each as storied as the last, Phantom has remained unrivalled – not just as the marque’s flagship motor car, but the world’s pinnacle luxury product.”

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced the appointment of Automobile Bavaria as an official dealer in Romania last August. The dealership is called Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest.

The relationship began in 2003 when Rolls-Royce Motor Cars together with Automobile Bavaria, organized the first presentation of a Rolls-Royce model in Romania. Two years later, Automobile Bavaria set up the first Rolls-Royce showroom at the Bucharest International Auto Show.
