Romanian arrested for card cloning in Papua New Guinea

A Romanian national, Tudor Vasile, has been arrested in Papua News Guinea for leading a card cloning syndicate operating in the Pacific.

After three months of investigation, detectives from the NCD Internal Investigation Unit made the breakthrough, led by Chief Inspector Apollos Terry.

Over 800 cloned bank cards and a cloning machine were seized during the bust in Port Moresby.

Authorities believe more arrests are imminent, possibly involving ‘high-profile individuals.’
