Romanian Ministry of National Defence extends recruitment process for volunteer reservists

The Romanian Ministry of National Defence has extended the recruitment campaign for those who wish to perform military service in reserve as volunteer reservists in the Romanian Army until June 24th.

At this stage, which began on May 16, 871 positions are available for all categories of personnel – officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, the Ministry of National Defence said in a press release on Wednesday.

Currently, in the structures of the Ministry of National Defence, there are separate promotion, recruitment and selection processes for 2,612 positions put up for competition this year. By June 3rd, 9,708 candidates registered and submitted their applications.

These events follow the declared „state of emergency” in Romania, which has also coincided with a campaign for this recruitment process on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
