Terrible accident hits South Africa

“Any man’s death diminishes me,/ Because I am involved in mankind”, laments John Donne in his most famous of poems, “No Man Is an Island”.

In a devastating accident, forty-two Zimbabwean and Malawian citizens have died after a bus taking them home flipped over on a South African road Sunday night.

The tragedy occurred as the bus squeezes through a steep mountainous section of the N1 highway in South Africa’s Limpopo province.

Veering off the road, the bus plunged into the embankment.

In the shock of the enormity, it has not yet become clear how this happened precisely.

49 are injured.

Seven children were among the dead.
