Cold weather arrived in Romania, bringing rain, snow and high winds to much of the country over the weekend.
Thick snow blanketed the Bucegi Mountains on Saturday after an unseasonal drop in temperatures, meteorologists said. Snowfall was accompanied by high winds.
High winds gusting up to 65 kilometers an hour whipped the Black Sea coast in eastern Romania from Constanta and farther north in the Danube port of Tulcea.

Mountain rescue workers posted images from the “Baba Mare” mountain at an altitude of 2,260 meters, News.ro reported.
