Harris wants to take Trump down

Sursa: X

In her presidential campaign, Kamala Harris is capitalizing on her experience as a prosecutor, targeting “predators, cheaters, fraudsters” and “perpetrators of all kinds” – meaning Donald Trump.

Harris says she knows his morally dubious type and is willing to take down Trump who, she says, wants to plunge America back into its past.

She came in strong after Joe Biden’s admitted defeat, publicly supported by representative democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Josh Shapiro and Gretchen Whitmer.

Donors have contributed a record $81m in the 24 hours since Kamala Harris announced her bid for the White House, her campaign states.

Harris had more than 2,500 delegates (well beyond the 1,976 needed to clinch the nomination on the first ballot) – but is still behind Trump in opinion polls.

Delegates are selected to represent their electoral area at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) – which is the party’s key nominating event.

Therefore, it’s quite clear that Kamala Harris will replace Joe Biden in his run for the 2024 presidential elections – but it will take some more effort to trump Trump in polls.

On balance, better a contest than a coronation
