Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest has presented in premiere six new Rolls-Royce models, celebrating their debut both in Europe and in Romania.
The Ghost Series II, Ghost Extended Series II and Black Badge Ghost Series II made their first public appearance at European level on Friday at the Iris Orangerie in Cioplani, a village north of Bucharest.
The Cullinan Series II and Black Badge Cullinan Series II made their debut in Romania. The Spectre, the first all-electric Rolls-Royce, was also officially unveiled in Romania for the first time.
The arrival of the new Rolls-Royce models in Romania marks a milestone, since the authorization of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest as an official dealer just two months ago.
Michael Schmidt, owner of Automobile Bavaria, said: “It is a privilege that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bucharest is hosting this extraordinary event, including three European debuts. It is a landmark moment to have such an eclectic group of unique protagonists from the automotive and luxury worlds on the same stage – this epic event underlines our belief in a bright future for the Spirit of Ecstasy in our country.”
Frank Tiemann, Director of Corporate Communications Europe (Central/East) and Central Asia, said: “Bringing six models to Bucharest is a statement of our commitment to Romania. Although they represent six individual personalities, these evolved and new models reflect different codes of luxury, perfectly serving the different lifestyles of our customers.
The Ghost Series II is closer to the clear, monolithic design of Rolls-Royce than ever before. The front has been transformed into a clean and contemporary showcase for the illuminated Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille.
At the rear, the Ghost Series II benefits from a new taillight configuration, which harmonizes the side and rear surfaces, inspired by the Spectre.
Along with the Central Information Display, on the passenger side is the new Spirit of Ecstasy on-board clock. This display case houses an analogue clock and a top-lit Spirit of Ecstasy figure with a mirror-like sheen made of solid stainless steel. Upon entering the car, the Spirit of Ecstasy figure is initially lit from below, as if it were within the range of a spotlight, before its illumination falls into a soft glow.
GHOST EXTENDED SERIES II – SPACE PRIVILEGE FOR REAR SEATS, AT ITS BEST
BLACK BADGE GHOST SERIES II – A BOLD EXPRESSION OF LUXURY AND POWER
In the Black Badge Ghost Series II, the formidable V12 engine is presented in a high-power configuration, producing 29 hp more power and 50 NM more than the Ghost Series II. As with all Rolls-Royce Black Badge models, the “Low” button located on the gear shift unlocks the full suite of Black Badge Ghost technologies, including a 50% increase in speed change when the accelerator pedal is pressed to 90% and a subtly more voluble note from the car’s exhaust system – features that dramatize, but they never compromise on the effortless Rolls-Royce driving experience.
CULLINAN SERIES II – A BOLD EVOLUTION OF THE WORLD’S MOST PROMINENT SUPER-LUXURY SUV
Launched six years ago, the original Cullinan had to possess authentic off-road capabilities, equal to the most demanding and hostile environments on Earth. At the same time, it had to offer the brand’s unparalleled comfort and the feeling of a magic carpet ride, regardless of the terrain. It had to be no more and no less than the ultimate super-luxury SUV – effortlessly, anywhere.
A key exterior design theme is verticality, reminiscent of the illuminated skyscrapers in mega-cities where Cullinan feels increasingly at home – this is most evident in the new taillight treatment. The front end of the Cullinan Series II is composed of simple characteristic lines and clear edges, with an emphasis on clean, monolithic surfaces that amplify the car’s generous proportions and presence.
On the passenger side of this panel (Fascia) is the new Spirit of Ecstasy on-board clock – a unique, inset display case featuring both an analogue watch and an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy figurine constructed of stainless steel, the result of four years of development and a unique partnership between analogue and digital creators. to achieve a dramatic and meticulously orchestrated flow of light.
BLACK BADGE CULLINAN SERIES II – CULLINAN’S DISRUPTIVE EGO, EVOLVED
Rolls-Royce’s disruptive alter ego, Black Badge, has reached its apotheosis through Cullinan, where its firm and uncompromising attitude attracts customers looking for the boldest forms of self-expression.
For this category of customers, the brand launches the Black Badge Cullinan Series II, representing a bolder and more expressive proposal, defined not only by a darker aesthetic treatment, but also by an authentic engineering substance meant to support it.
All exterior body detailing and metal elements, including the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, are also finished in black.
Black Badge Cullinan Series II is defined not only by the aesthetic treatment, but also by an authentic engineering substance meant to support it. The qualities that defined the Black Badge Cullinan’s first appearance, such as higher-capacity air springs to soften body roll and add even greater power reserves, have been retained for the Black Badge Cullinan Series II. The 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine generates a total output of 600 hp and 900 Nm of torque – without compromising the car’s effortless, magic-carpet-like driving experience.
