The head of state says that Romania and Hungary are neighbors, partners and members of the EU and NATO.

He added there were “important opportunities to collaborate in the field of regional security, economic cooperation and citizens’ well-being” of both countries.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán admitted his defeat in front of his supporters on Sunday evening. After 16 years in power, during which time he exasperated Europe, Viktor Orban is now preparing to be the leader of the opposition.
He said that in the more than 30 years since he has been at the head of the Fidesz party, “he has lived through hard and easy, beautiful and sad years”, but insisted that he “never, never, never give up”.
