The annual tuberose festival will be held in the village of Hoghilag on the 3rd and 4th of August.
On the idyllic backdrop of Hoghilag, visitors will savor the heady scent of tuberoses in bloom.
The festival will begin with a race, on Saturday morning, from 8:30 to 11.
Throughout the day, educational workshops will take place – as will book launches, expositions of local products, treasure hunts and – the main attraction – the tour of tuberose cultures.
At the Evangelical Church in Hoghilag, which is also the main information point, there will be several documentary screenings, recitals of piano, fanfare, interbelic and traditional music.
On Sunday, we’ll see the same activities as yesterday in a continued form, as well as a ceramic sale.
