Meteorologists have issued an amber weather alert for heavy rain and high winds in southeast Romania, News.ro reported.
Weather forecasters said the warning would last until Wednesday afternoon.
Rainfall will reach 35 liters per meter in some areas, and as much as 40 liters a meter in Dobogrea, in eastern Romania.
The National Weather Administration said winds will gust up to 50 to 60 kilometers an hour and over 70 kilometers an hour in coastal areas.
There is a orange weather warning starting Tuesday at 9 pm until Wednesday at 10 am.
”In this interval, it will rain abundantly on the coastal area with rainfall between 50 and 70 liters a meter,” a statement said.
