The number of coronavirus cases jumped to 762 on Tuesday, the sharpest spike in a day so far. Eleven people have died from the COVID-19 in the country.
The Strategic Communication Group on Tuesday said a record 183 cases were registered in the past 24 hours. Patients were aged 4 to 85. Seventy-nine people have recovered.
All 11 people who died were elderly with underlying health conditions.
There are currently six people in intensive care who are in a serious condition.
A total of 5,515 are in institutionalized quarantine, while 83,970 are in self-isolation at home.
Some 12,624 tests have been carried out so far.
