Court orders top Romanian surgeon accused of bribery be placed under home arrest
A Bucharest court on Friday ruled that top Romanian surgeon Mircea Beuran be placed under house arrest for 30 days on suspicion that he took a 10,000 euro bribe.
The court
rejected a request by anti-corruption prosecutors to arrest him for 30 days. He
