A Romanian man managed to lose his license a day after getting it.
The 29-year-old took his car out the day after he obtained his driving test, police said.
He was clocked traveling more than twice the speed limit at 109 km/h in a 50km/h zone, Mediafax reported.
Police said they caught him speeding on Wednesday as he was driving through the village of Telesti.
The unnamed man got his license on Tuesday.
Police said another 18-year-old was caught driving at 119 km/h in a nearby village.
They have lost their driving licenses for 90 days. They were fined 2,600 lei each, which is about 530 euros.
