The USA has paused military aid to Ukraine, following the acrimonious live discussion between Presidents Trump and Zelensky and American VP J.D. Vance.
After the discussion went south, Zelensky fled the White House, and later showed up on Fox News saying he was certain that his relationship to Trump would be salvaged.
But to no avail — Trump has ordered that arms deliveries be halted.
However, Trump is still interested in signing his rare minerals deal, he says.
Though Trump still hasn’t commented, this seems to be a pause rather than a definitive pause.
Trump was angered by Zelensky saying that the war will not end soon by any means, and reprimanded him, bolstered by an angry Vance.
Ukrainian officials have already come out, publicly calling it a catastrophe, with journalists accusing Trump of having been an agent of the KGB.
This puts the pressure on Europe to provide, while Russia would probably be happy to call peace while gobbling up half of Ukraine.
