The world on Tuesday marked 1,000 days since Russia brutally invaded Ukraine.

Russia launched its all-out invasion of its neighbor on Feb. 24, 2022 in what is Europe’s biggest armed conflict since World War II. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost on both sides and 1000s  of Ukrainian civilians have been killed in the fighting. Others have lost  family members, their homes and their livelihoods.

Russia’s military has repeatedly pounded civilian targets with missiles, drones and artillery across Ukraine.

As the  conflict entered its 1,000th day, Universul.net presents you with messages sent by regional leaders.
