James Joyce’s Ulysses, translated into Romanian by Mircea Ivănescu, launches at the Museum of Romanian Literature

Ulysses by James Joyce, translated into Romanian by Mircea Ivănescu, the Humanitas Fiction bestseller at Bookfest 2022, will be launched on Thursday, at 18.00, in the garden of the National Museum of Romanian Literature (Nicolae Cretulescu Street no. 8, Bucharest).

Bloomsday, an event celebrated on June 16th – the day on which the novel takes place – in over 200 cities around the world.

The event is organized in Bucharest by the Irish Embassy with the support of the National Museum of Romanian Literature, the Capital’s City Hall, Humanitas Fiction Publishing House, students of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Bucharest and students of MTU Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork.
