The 10th edition of the Transylvania International Book Festival will host 60 events in Cluj-Napoca from September 25 to 29.
The festival involves cultural events, book launches, conferences and exhibitions, with local and international guests.
There will be conferences, such as “The Editor’s Job Today”, held by Irina Petras, president of the Writers’ Union of Romania, Cluj Branch, and launches of collective anthologies.
The special guest of FICT 2024 is Daniele Dell’Agnola from Switzerland, a writer, literature professor and musician, who will launched the Romanian translation of his book, “Luna din cufar” (The Moon in the Chest) at the festival, accompanied by Iolanda Giovanoli,, the 84-year-old woman who inspired the novel’s protagonist.
The festival is always held in Unirii Square in Cluj’s city center.
